Introducing the alternative to expensive all-encompassing Enterprise Plans: AppSignal Business Add-ons.
With our Business Add-Ons, you only need to pay for the features that matter to you, giving you the additional features your organization needs with the same freedom and flexibility all AppSignal customers enjoy.
We currently have three Business Add-Ons on offer:
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act - HIPAA - Business Associate Agreement
- Long-Term Log Storage
- Two-Factor Authentication Enforcement
In this blog post, we'll give you a whistle-stop tour of our new Business Add-Ons and explain how to add them to your organization's plan.
HIPAA Business Associate Agreement
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) ensures the security of personal health information (PHI) for individuals in the US. Our HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) add-on helps you comply with these regulations, ensuring the security and privacy of any PHI that may inadvertently end up in AppSignal.
At AppSignal, we understand that safeguarding sensitive data isn't just a legal obligation; it's a fundamental aspect of earning and maintaining your users' trust. That's why we've dedicated significant resources to ensure General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and HIPAA compliance, and ISO 27001 certification.
By choosing our HIPAA BAA add-on, you can rest assured that your organization meets HIPAA regulations.
Long-Term Log Storage
With Long-Term Log Storage, you can securely store your AppSignal logs in any S3-compatible storage service, like AWS S3 or DigitalOcean.
Long-Term Log Storage can be configured per log source, meaning you can control what logs you store and where you store them. With our straightforward setup, you can have Long-Term Log Storage up and running in minutes.
Once configured, AppSignal will begin saving logs to your S3 storage hourly, with all of your logs available in AppSignal for 30 days:
Two-Factor Authentication Enforcement
AppSignal already offers Two-Factor Authentication to all users on all plans.
However, with our Two-Factor Authentication Enforcement add-on, you can ensure that all of your organization's team members keep their AppSignal accounts secure by having 2FA as a requirement.
Once activated, organization members, depending on whether they're new or existing, have a 3-7 day grace period to enable Two-Factor Authentication. If users fail to enable Two-Factor Authentication within this timeframe, they will be locked out of the organization until it's enabled:
